There is no shame in having acne, so there
is no need to hide its imperfections. This is what the young photographer,
Peter DeVito, wants to demonstrate in his series of photos without retouching.
Peter DeVito is a 20-year-old New York
photographer who recently took the initiative to normalize acne, a very common
skin condition that can become a disabling complex for many people. Recently,
after she walked the Golden Globe, Kendall Jenner was mocked by Internet users
because of her buttons. However, the model refused to let herself be
criticized. The young woman showed that she was not ashamed of her skin
problems and responded to her haters: "Never let this shit stop you"
via her Twitter account. When she was younger, acne "ruined" her
self-confidence and Peter DeVito experienced the same situation. So, the
photographer decided to say stop at the complexes and demonstrate that the acne
was normal.
